• Berufsregeln der Rechtsanwälte der Europäischen Gemeinschaft – Professional Rules for Lawyers of the European Community.
• Gesetz über die Tätigkeit europäischer Rechtsanwälte in Deutschland – Law implementing the Directives of the European Community pertaining to the professional law regulating the legal profession.

Professional liability insurance:
Hoang Nguyen and Carl Altewischer maintain the required professional liability insurance with Zurich Insurance plc (a public limited company under Irish law), located in 50427 Cologne.

The geographical scope of the professional liability insurance includes:

1. Germany.
2. European countries. Covered are liability claims arising from activities (1) related to advising on and dealing with European law; (2) of the lawyer before European courts.
3. Worldwide up to the legally required minimum insurance sum for liability claims arising from the use of the insured party before non-European courts.
4. The insurance coverage does not extend to liability claims arising from activities through law firms or offices established or maintained abroad.
